    Description

1962 Econoline pickup.  I purchased about a year ago and installed new fuel gauge, front springs, door actuator, window felts, and brake light switch. Everything works. Original Drivetrain. Rare truck!
If you search the history on the web for 1962 Econoline pickup photos, you will see the original build from a shop in Ohio.  It was sold to a gentleman in New Jersey who put about 1200 miles on it and I have put about 400 on it.  These are miles since the rebuild in Ohio.  Car runs great.  3 speed on the tree, manual choke, no power anything.  OLD SCHOOL Driving at its best. Seatbelts?  Who needs them! I just drive it locally and go to a few car shows, but would now like to retire, so it's time to let someone else enjoy it.  There are a few quirks with this truck. Whomever did the interior put electric leather seats in that are wide and make it hard to access the engine compartment.  Luckily it runs great though, so I have only gone in to check fluids. Also the headliner sags and needs to be re-glued. Other that that, its a fun truck to drive and you will get a lot of stares! Body is completely rust free.  Engine is a 144CI  with a whooping 85 HP.  Great gas mileage. Send your mechanic to check it out. Rims are chrome American racing and the rears have slight pitting (like all American Racing rims do) Any other questions let me know. Thanks for looking!
