Description

If you have been searching one of the world’s best Series One Jaguar E-Type Fixed Head Coupes, you have found it here!  Fully Restored in stunning Indigo Blue Metallic with many safety, comfort and performance upgrades!
This Jaguar Concours winner is the best of the best!
This superb E-type, is offered for the first time in 8 years.   I have owned Jaguars continuously since 1989, and this is the second E-type (and the best one) upon which I had a full nuts-and-bolts restoration performed.  This numbers matching car was built in 2009-2010 by Paul Ireson, of Ireson Motorsports, of Sevierville, Tennessee.  Paul was a past George Barris Award winner at the Detroit Auto Show. The full photographic record of the restoration is included with the car..  I sold the car in 2012 to its current owner, who has now asked me to resell the car.  Due to some personal issues, the current owner drove the car only approximately 400 miles since purchasing from me.  The car was shipped last year back to Paul Ireson for a complete restoration/renewal.  After completion of the 8 month renewal process (engine, interior, body and paint), the car was then shipped to me just recently to Fort Myers, Florida.
I had the car restored following several guiding principles:
Respect to the marque and the “most beautiful car ever made” (according to Enzo Ferrari). The Series One Jaguar E-Type is the only automobile on permanent display at the Museum of Modern Art In NYC.
Provide performance upgrades without blemishing the original design.
Provide safety and comfort upgrades without distracting from the beauty of the original.

This car had been listed for sale recently, and I removed the listing after we had a sale.  Unfortunately the purchaser could not complete the purchase, so the car is again available.
The car runs excellent and strong with tremendous torque!  The lightweight flywheel greatly improves revs.  The Weber Carbs want to run this car out and are not shy about drinking fuel!  A great handling beast of a motorcar!
The car is being sold with a Jaguar Daimler Trust Heritage Certificate, clean Florida Title (transfer from Panama title to Florida title currently in process) and comes with the Owner's Manual, service records, restoration record, Concours trophies, two sets of keys, and jack.
The car is being sold in AS-IS Condition.  The prospective buyer may inspect the car at my location of Fort Myers, Florida, by appointment only. The prospective buyer is also welcome to call Paul Ireson of Ireson Motorsports, in Sevierville, Tennessee for any mechanical/technical questions.
All sales are final.   A wire transfer or cash ONLY deposit in the amount of 5.85% of the sales price is due within 24 hours of the end of auction/purchase, and the balance is due by wire transfer or cash ONLY within 7 days of the close of the auction.
Buyer is solely responsible for shipping from my location in Fort Myers, Florida, or the car may be picked up and driven to your location.  Selling worldwide.  Buyer has right to sell this vehicle direct and not through EBay.
THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK!  I AM HOPING THIS FINE MOTORCAR GOES TO A SUITABLE CARETAKER!
