HUGE FINE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN AMERICAN RENAISSANCE OVER MANTEL MIRROR W/ JENNY LIND BUST 1870's
This is one very large and impressive piece of carved and molded mirror from the height of Victorian glory. American celebration of Italian renaissance was mostly seen in architecture and furniture around the 3rd quarter of the 19th c.  This piece came out of a place that had 18 foot ceilings.
Size:
63.25" wide x 82" high and 11" deep.
This piece has been restored to glory. Work around crest with plaster repair and newer ebonizing and fine gold highlights. Original mirror in place.
There is one very small imperfection in the silvering in the mirrored glass about the size of a quarter in the upper 3rd of the
glass
.
One tiny finial missing.
This is a grand piece and is very heavy. We have built up support behind entire crest to make this piece very secure and solid. Photos can not do it justice. You may want to see this and the other (4) huge mirrors we have in person!
