Aluminum ???? Metal Bowl Elephant set of 6 bowls

not sure what these are.  bought in an estate auction and it was in with a lot of sterling i got.  these dont appear to be sterling or plate to me and feel a little too heavy for aluminum but maybe.  i cant find any markings so they are what they are.
