Description
This is a Very Rare 1950’s Original Paolo De Poli Enamel On solid Copper, total weight is 1 1/4 pounds, door pull. This door pull is in excellent condition considering it’s age. There’s a small metal plaque baked into the enamel on the reverse side, which is stating, in raised letters, that it is “an original De Poli made in Italy for the Yale & Towne Mfg. Co”, better known to us for their Yale locks. This item appears to be a one of a kind because of the small silver, which looks like sterling or silver plated plaque. Or the plaque was only applied to items going to the Yale company. ThePlaque measures 13/16” by 1/2”. The entire pull is 1/4 of an inch thick with two outside and inside mounted threaded screws, 3 inch spread, and total depth is 3/4 of an inch from the front edging of the pull to the end of the screws. The copper pull measures 6 1/2 inches long by 3 1/2” wide by 3/4 of an inch thick and as I said earlier weighs 1 1/4pounds. This Beautiful and artistic pull would definitely add the perfect look to any mid century home.
